Simon Berry is a specialist Environmental / Resource Management barrister who has more than 27 years experience in the Environmental Law field. He advises a range of clients, including local authorities and major corporates, on issues relevant to the application of the Resource Management Act 1991 and related environmental legislation.

As specialist environmental counsel, Simon regularly represents clients before Regional and District Councils and the Environment Court. He is also frequently appointed as an independent hearing commissioner to hear and determine resource consent applications relating to the allocation and use of New Zealand’s resources.
