Simon Berry is acting for Northgate Developments Ltd in relation to provisions of the Waikato District Council's Proposed District Plan ("PDP") which relate to the development of industrial land in Horotiu. Northgate, which owns a greenfields site in Horotiu intended for future industrial development, has appealed against the PDP. Northgate seeks appropriate provisions that will provide for the staged release of greenfields land for industrial development and is currently engaged in mediation with the Council and other appellants.
