Simon Berry and Craig Malone acted for the Thames-Coromandel District Council ("TCDC") in relation to obtaining consents for the upgrade and ongoing operation of the Thames wastewater treatment and disposal system. TCDC made applications to Environment Waikato to authorise the upgrading and ongoing operation of the treatment plant and a hearing on those applications was held in April 2009. Consents were granted subject to a suite of conditions and no appeals were lodged.
