Simon has recently been engaged by Waipa District Council (alongside MWH Global) in relation to the renewal of water supply consents for Te Awamutu and Te Rore and wastewater consents for the Cambridge Wastewater Treatment Plant. Waipa District Council intends to apply to Environment Waikato for long term resource consents for its water supply and wastewater discharge which will meet the future needs for the Waipa District, align with the Waipa 2050 growth strategy and enhance the quality of the Waikato River.
